Easy Way to Adding/Formatting Borders in Excel

Adding lines and borders is a quick way to format important information in Excel. Because by adding a line or border that we make the table easier to read.
Borders can be added to one or all sides of a cell or block of cells
  • Select the cell or block of cell, than click The Borders option which is located under the Home tab of the ribbon
  • Select the kind of border, (Bottom, Top, Left, Right, All, Outside, etc)
Different thickness of lines can be used 
  • Under the Border Option you can choose Tick Box border, Tick Bottom Border, Top and Tick Bottom Border
A variety of line styles are available
  • By click Line Style you under the Border Option can choose the line style you need
There are a number of colors to choose from
  •  By click Line Color you under the Border Option can choose the line color you need
We can also formatting border manually by choose More Border under Border Option, or through Format Cell (right click in cell or block of cell, then click Format Cell) or by pressing Ctrl+1. There are many choices about border, line style, and color style.
